Freshmen participated in health screenings through their English classes this past week for vision, hearing and blood pressure. Their height and weight were also recorded. With the help of Sertoma volunteers for hearing screenings, Rasmussen student nurses for blood pressure, and Ms. Theresa Mundy’s Health Science class volunteers, we were able to to successfully screen 319 students. We are currently working to assist students found eligible as a result of the screenings. A big thank you to all involved to make this event such a terrific success!
