AHS Shark-hrAnclote High School winter newsletters were mailed home to Shark families last week. Newsletters are mailed via bulk mail through the post office, which sometimes results in a delay. Parents can access the February newsletter through the side bar link on the school webpage.

District Notification to Parents

AHS Shark-RoyalDistrict School Board of Pasco County is providing information to parents regarding the Measles disease. The Pasco County School District has provided a letter to parents outlining steps to protect your child and others from becoming infected with measles, and what would occur if a case was identified at your child’s school.  Parents can request a hard copy of the letter by contacting the school directly.

Course Selection 2015-16

AHS Shark-hrAnclote High School will be hosting our annual Curriculum Fair,  March 3, at 6:00 pm.  All incoming 9th grade students will begin the evening in the gymnasium for a brief introduction to high school.  All current students and parents are welcome to begin their evening in the East end of the 400 building.

The evening will be filled with information on curriculum, clubs, athletics and general information to help students be successful in high school. Our guidance department will be presenting information on Honors, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, Bright Futures, College Readiness and High School Success.  Information on curriculum, clubs, athletics, ROTC, Band, Drama, and technology will also be available.  Parents and students are highly encouraged to visit our CCTE programs to participate on hands on activities throughout the evening.

AHS Wrestling – 3 SAC Champions!

Science and Engineering Fair Winner!


Congratulations to Samantha Williams who earned first place – two years in a row – at the Pasco Regional Science and Engineering Fair for her project on Alternative Antimicrobials. Samantha will compete at the state fair in Lakeland March 31 – April 2. Samantha also qualifies for the Florida Tech Science and Engineering Fair Scholarship.
