Matt Kingsley New Head Football Coach

AncloteHS_SportMarkAnclote Athletics is pleased to announce Matt Kingsley as our new Head Football Coach. Coach Matt Wicks, who established the Shark Football program in 2009, will be leaving AHS to lead the district as Pasco County’s new Athletic Director. Coach Kingsley has also been part of the program since it’s inception and is excited about the opportunity to carry on the tradition of Shark Football as our new Head Coach. There will be a mandatory parent meeting this Tuesday at 6:00 in the gym. Congratulations Coach Kingsley!

Important Safety Announcement

The Sheriff’s Department was recently notified about a potential threat of gun violence at Anclote High School. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Department immediately, and thoroughly, investigated the report and has made contact with all involved parties determining no credibility in the threat. I appreciate the quick action of students and staff in the reporting of information regarding this incident. The safety and security of Anclote High School and our Shark family is always of paramount importance. There will be extra presence from the Sheriff’s department on campus Monday in response to the incident and to reassure students, staff and families.
