Anclote High School winter newsletters were mailed home to Shark families last week. Newsletters are mailed via bulk mail through the post office, which sometimes results in a delay. Parents can access the February newsletter through the side bar link on the school webpage.
District School Board of Pasco County is providing information to parents regarding the Measles disease. The Pasco County School District has provided a letter to parents outlining steps to protect your child and others from becoming infected with measles, and what would occur if a case was identified at your child’s school. Parents can request a hard copy of the letter by contacting the school directly.
Anclote High School will be hosting our annual Curriculum Fair, March 3, at 6:00 pm. All incoming 9th grade students will begin the evening in the gymnasium for a brief introduction to high school. All current students and parents are welcome to begin their evening in the East end of the 400 building.
Congratulations to Samantha Williams who earned first place – two years in a row – at the Pasco Regional Science and Engineering Fair for her project on Alternative Antimicrobials. Samantha will compete at the state fair in Lakeland March 31 – April 2. Samantha also qualifies for the Florida Tech Science and Engineering Fair Scholarship.
