Shark Blood Drive

Anclote High School’s HOSA Club hosted a blood drive with OneBlood, where more than 100 pints of blood were donated. Thank you to all of the students and staff who participated in this valuable service project. Way to REP the Sharks!

AVID College & Career Exploration





Anclote High School AVID students recently visited several universities while exploring post-secondary options. Students toured the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, and Florida Gulf Coast University with their respective grade-level AVID families as they prepare for College, Career & Life! 

HOSA Excellence!

Mrs. Cerelli and the Anclote High School HOSA students competed at Regionals this past weekend in Winter Haven. Special congratulations to Marco Yglesia on his 3rd place finish in Epidemiology and Michael Berg on his 1st place finish in Extemporaneous Writing. Both students are eligible to compete at the state level in April. Way to REP the Sharks!

Principal’s Brunch

Congratulations to the following students who were recognized at the recent Principal’s Brunch: Emma Keene, Mariah McBride, James Summers, Sara Harlen, Phebe Knoll, Emily Nelson, Ryan Flint, Brianna Renzoni, Bry’n King,Nathaniel Withall, Jaden Childs, Hayley Snell and Tommy Gerapetritis. Family Resource Day

Families are invited to attend Anclote High School’s Family Resource Day on Tuesday, January 23, from 9:30-1:30 in the Shark Zone. A number of community agencies will be available to provide valuable information to families. Representatives from Chrysalis, BayCare, Metropolitan Ministries, One Community Now, the Health Department, Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention and Premier Healthcare are some of the Anclote partners available to engage families. A flier was sent home with students on Friday with additional details.

Athletic Excellence

Congratulations to Noah Winans who was selected as Offensive Lineman of the game at the East-West All Star Game last week. Big shout out also to Lyndsey McWhorter, who recently achieved a milestone as Anclote High School’s first 1000 point scorer in Lady Shark Basketball history.
